At Hello Wonder, we celebrate that every family is unique, with its own set of values, cultural background, and goals for their children. Ensuring that your child explores content online that aligns with these values while their personal growth develops can be a big challenge!
That’s why I wanted to share a refresher of our Wonder AI Instructions feature, designed to help parents tailor their child’s online experience to match their family’s specific hopes, dreams, and aspirations.
Personalize Your Family’s Digital Experience with AI
In the Instructions for Wonder AI box for each child, parents input their family’s values and goals for each child, such as religious beliefs, cultural heritage, and educational priorities, directly into the Hello Wonder app. This personalized information becomes part of the AI prompt that shapes the content your child sees and the conversations they have with Wonder. You can find this setting in each child’s profile in the Hello Wonder Parent Dashboard.
Here are a few standout examples that have resulted in custom content that aligned with parental interests and delighted their children*:
We believe in exploration and learning from mistakes. Alexander is smart, funny, bright and wants to excel! I want him to know he can do hard things. He likes horses and musical theater.
We are a loving Jewish family that is very wholesome. Don’t show our children content that has people dressed immodestly or people using profanity. We want our kids to be exposed to kindness, to learn and have fun. Do not discuss weapons or violence. Shona loves math, riding her bike, and playing Minecraft. She loves to sing and dance, and loves ballerinas.
We are a super curious family really into facts supported by science. No detail is too scientific or geeky. We like the nexus of art and science. Randy loves math and science, and we’d like him to try harder concepts. Emphasize French and Hawaiian culture. Encourage him to get outside.
Customize content types
Parents can choose to turn on or off specific types of content—videos, websites, and games—if they feel their child is consuming too much or if they want to limit exposure to certain mediums. This flexibility empowers you to create a balanced and healthy digital diet for your child.
Empowering Parents, Enriching Children
Our Instructions for AI feature is more than just a tool; it’s a commitment to helping parents navigate the digital world with confidence and peace of mind. By integrating your family’s values and goals into the content your child consumes, Hello Wonder ensures that every moment spent online is a step towards their growth and well-being. No more endless toy unboxing videos or questionable ads for your kids!
Hello Wonder is like having a customized YouTube filter that parents control using AI prompts, providing a safe and enriching online environment for your child. Whether your goal is to improve your child’s reading skills, encourage kindness, or nurture creativity, Wonder ensures that the content your kids see is what you want them to see.
